Hi everyone, how are you doing? My Muslim brothers and sisters, how are you coping with a very … different Ramadhan this year?
I, for one, is sad. I can’t and won’t lie. It is a very heartbroken start of Ramadhan. We can’t pray in the mosque, we can’t do Iftar together, and we can’t even meet friends and hug them. It is hard and lonely.
But I decided to be positive. It’s not a time for us to be drown in negative thoughts. We need all the positivities in the world. Allah SWT told us so.
Suhaib reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
Wondrous is the affair of the believer for there is good for him in every matter and this is not the case with anyone except the believer. If he is happy, then he thanks Allah and thus there is good for him, and if he is harmed, then he shows patience and thus there is good for him.
Subhanallah, and there’s always a reward for a believer.
Let’s start this Ramadhan with feeling blessed and all the patience. Insya Allah, there will be a reward.
Hugs for you,
